OURVISION 2009 -THE WINNER IS LAULUYHTYE SUORALÄHETYS
2009 Ourvision was held in a magnificent Finlandia Hall 25th of April. Almost full house enjoyed the performances by dancing and cheering for their favourite by standing up. The competition was high-class and the winner is Lauluyhtye Suoralähetys. Suoralähetys won 7 000e and a record deal.
Winnig the Ourvision made men from Suoralähetys cry and now they have an excellent change to make it in the music business.
In the Ourvision 2009 Final second came Grupo Kaney which background is in Cuba and the third was Luca Cannavo whose background is in Italy. The Best Voice was Anusha Iyer whose background is in India and The Best Own Song was made by Noah Kin whose background is in Niger. Grupo Kaney also won The Best Band award.

A Multicultural Singing Contest
Ourvision is a singing contest arranged by The International Cultural Centre Caisa for immigrants, people of immigrant origins, and foreigners living in Finland.

Ourvision Singing Contest begins with try-outs of the following groups: Asiavision (Asia and Oceania), Afrovision, Americavision (South America and North America), Middle-East Vision, and Europevision.
The contest begins with try-outs, and the five best contestants from each try-out continue to compete in their own Ourvision group’s semi-finals. Two winners of every category will move on to compete in Ourvision final for the title of Ourvision winner.
The 1st prize for Ourvision 2009 competition is 7000€ and recording contract.
Ourvision 2008 Singing Contest
Iolanta "Lana" Savva 1st place 2008
The winner of Ourvision 2008 was Iolanta Savva (Moldova)! The 18 year old Savva overcame the tight competition in the Grand Finale held in Finlandia Hall on 26th April. The strong voiced star convinced the judges with her interpretation of songs by Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and Beyonce, who are also her idols as artists. Savva received a prize of 2 500 €, a recording deal for a single, and the making of her own music video. Iolanta Savva also won the category for the Best Voice.
Norlan "El Misionario" 3rd place 2008
The second place went to the 22 year old Kadi Vija (Estonia) and Norlan Leygonier Santana (Cuba) –having also won the category for the Best Band- came in third.
Yuki Tsuguya-Kumpunen (Japan), though not making it to the final, won the category of the Best Performance with her Finnish rock songs and wild dancing. Esteban Fenno’s and Ysniel Carro’s (Cuba) tryout song took the prize in the category of Best Own Song. The category nominees included singers throughout the contest.
